Project Description

MG Group was approached by an overseas investor to project manage this residential apartment building. Our main services on this project included; value management, procurement, managing the tender process, negotiating the contract price, overall project management and superintendency services.

The project has six units including two penthouses and two additional sky home villas on the top level.

The overseas investor plans to keep all units and rent them out on AirBnB.

337 Worongary Road, Tallai

Project Description

MG Group worked with the developer of this four-lot subdivision to help obtain all environmental approvals, negotiate with the civil contractor, finalise all authority approvals with Telstra / Energex and manage the entire project from start to finish.

BAYLIFE DEVELOPMENT

Project Description

Baylife is a residential project located at Deception Bay in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland. The project comprises of 64 units split over two stages. The project was designed to include above ground car parking which proved beneficial as it increased the building cost efficiency ratio.

City Road, Beenleigh

Project Description

26 City Road in Beenleigh is a multi-unit residential building with ground level car parking and 27 units spread across three levels. The average size of the units is approximately 100m2.

Bright Avenue, Labrador

Project Description

Project Description

The Hive is Byron Bay’s newest marketplace showcasing some of the finest offerings our region has to offer. It is an architecturally designed precinct allowing opportunity for retail and food production shops, accompanied by function office suites. CENTRAL PROVINCE HOSPITAL

Project Description

This project included a new 400 bed hospital and medical precinct in Papua New Guinea. The contemporary new facilities will feature separate female and male wards, ICU ward, high dependency ward, children’s ward, birthing clinic, special research and training facilities and a future medical precinct.

Cotlew Street, Ashmore

Project Description

Located in Ashmore, this development consists of 12 duplex townhouses, each with three bedrooms. Each townhouse has a double garage and the complex has a communal recreational space with a BBQ, shelter and seating area.

Crest on Pacific, Bilinga

Project Description

Project Description

Falkinder Avenue, Paradise Point

Project Description

The project is a three-level apartment building located at 44-50 Falkinder Avenue, Paradise Point. The development consists of 35 individual two and three bedroom apartments. Paradise Point apartments will be fitted with the highest calibre internal fixtures and fittings as well as an attractive Rooftop Recreation Centre and basement parking for tenants and visitors.

Gilbert Street, Maroochydore

Project Description

A Sunshine Coast project offering 11 two-bedroom units. The project is being developed by a private investor with the goal of keeping all the units at the end of the project.

It was important to design the building with energy efficiency initiatives and features that required minimal maintenance. There was also a requirement to negotiate with Unity Water to resolve an easement that cut through the property.

Hillwood – Raffle Street, Mount Gravatt

Project Description

Designed on the side of a hill, this project compromised of 24 residential units that are mostly made up of two- and three-bedroom configurations. This project was designed to maximise the site yield and include an above ground basement. MG Group played a crucial role on this project in the final construction funding deal with Westpac.

Ivory Crescent, Tweed Heads

Project Description

This development comprises of 20 units over five levels with a swimming pool and communal area on the roof terrace. The units have an average size of approximately 100m2 and car parking is in an underground basement.

JOWETT ST COOMERA

Project Description

The new Aboriginal health centre in Coomera consists of 1 level with ground floor car parking. The medical centre includes family rooms, health consults and a playroom; the project will have a completion date of October 2019.

KURUMUL MASTERPLAN

Project Description

Jiwaka was formed in 2013 and is the youngest provincial government in Papua New Guinea. The new town called Kurumul was designed to meet all the villages and to act as a town centre. Jiwaka exports large quantities of tea and coffee all over the world. Kurumul will be an important milestone as they expand current export markets. It will also act as a link to the Southern Highlands and will attract mining companies. A new Town Centre spanning 180ha was designed and a detailed planning report was approved through the Physical Planning Board. This include the undertaking LIDAR Surveys over the entire city and setting up a system whereby land ownership can be distinguished, and land tax can be charged.

Maddison on Timor, Loganholme

Project Description

Made up of a two level and three level multi-unit buildings, this development at 10 Timor Avenue has a mixture of one and two bedroom units and each level above ground has six units. The one bedroom units have an area of approximately 66m2 and the two bedroom units are approximately 98m2. Car parking is provided on the ground level of the buildings.

MARINER SHORES RESORT BURLEIGH HEADS

Project Description

This is a bathroom refurbishment of 72 bathrooms over 3 stages at Mariner Shores Resort. To date MG Group has completed two stages and the third stage is expected to commence in July 2019.
